Acceptable Use and Abuse Reporting

Effective date: October 31, 2026

myartefacts hosts files that users and their AI agents publish, and users can share them with anyone through links. That includes arbitrary HTML that runs in visitors' browsers. This policy sets the rules, and explains how to report a problem and how we respond. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Report abuse: abuse@myartefacts.com

1. What you must not do

Do not upload, publish, share or link to anything that:

Also do not:

Content created by an AI agent is your content. If an agent publishes something that breaks these rules, you are responsible, so review what your agents publish, and what you choose to share.

2. What we may do

We do not review content in advance, but we act when we learn of a problem. Depending on seriousness we may, with or without notice:

We try to tell the account owner what we did and why, unless the law or an investigation prevents it. Owners may reply and ask us to reconsider.

3. How to report abusive content

Email abuse@myartefacts.com with:

  1. The link (URL) of the share page or Explore page, or the artifact's address.
  2. What the problem is and which rule it breaks.
  3. Your name and an email so we can follow up. Reports can be anonymous, but then we cannot ask questions.
  4. For phishing or malware, a note about how it harms people, if known.

We aim to review reports within 1 business day for urgent categories (malware, phishing, child safety, threats) and within 5 business days otherwise. Every share page also has a "Report this page" link that opens a short report form with the URL filled in.

4. Copyright complaints (DMCA-style notice)

If you believe content on myartefacts infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent:

Copyright agent: Copyright Agent, Monte Villa, LLC, 11815 Far Edge Path, Columbia, MD, USA, abuse@myartefacts.com

Your notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
  3. Identification of the material you say is infringing and enough information to locate it (the share link URL).
  4. Your contact details: name, address, phone and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not sure the material infringes, consider talking to a lawyer first.

What we do: when we receive a complete notice, we promptly remove or disable access to the material, notify the account owner and give them a copy of the notice (including your contact details unless you ask us not to, but they may be needed for a counter-notice). Incomplete notices may be ignored or we may ask for more.

5. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to post it, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone and email, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where we can be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

What we do: we send your counter-notice to the complainant. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain you, we may restore the material roughly 10 to 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.

6. Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright or abuse the Service, in appropriate circumstances.

7. Other legal notices (EU and elsewhere)

If you are in the EU and want to report content you believe is illegal under EU or member state law (for example under the Digital Services Act), email abuse@myartefacts.com with: an explanation of why the content is illegal, the exact link, your name and email (unless the report concerns child sexual abuse offences), and a statement that you believe the report is accurate and complete. We confirm receipt, decide diligently, and tell you our decision. Users affected by a decision may ask for review at the same address.

For court orders and government requests, write to 11815 Far Edge Path, Columbia, MD, USA or abuse@myartefacts.com. We review each request and may push back if it is unclear or overbroad.

8. Security vulnerabilities

If you found a security hole in myartefacts, please tell us privately at hello@myartefacts.com (subject: "security") and give us time to fix it before disclosing. Do not access other people's data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
